Healing Beneath the Surface
Stories, tools, and insights to help you understand what’s been running your life in the background — and how to finally release it.
You don’t have to be in recovery to relate to these stories — you just have to be human.
A lot of what I share comes from my background in recovery and the healing work I’ve done with women on that journey.
But the patterns underneath —
the emotional weight, the triggers, the spirals, the self-doubt, the tension your body won’t let go of —
those are human patterns.
And they show up in anyone who’s been carrying more inside than they realize.
So whether you’re in recovery, years past it, or have never struggled with addiction at all…
if you’ve ever wondered “Why am I this way?”
these posts will make things click.
Here’s what you’ll find here:
Real stories about emotional patterns that silently run your reactions
Tools to help you release the weight you’ve been carrying
Insights from my own healing journey and the clients I work with
Clarity about why you feel the way you do
Next steps for when you’re tired of repeating the same patterns
My goal isn’t to motivate you.
It’s to help you finally understand yourself — and actually feel lighter, steadier, and more like you again.
SHE CALLED THEM “SECURITY BLANKETS.”
She described them as “security blankets” — people and things she clung to because they made her feel safe. But underneath the anxiety and attachment was something much deeper: subconscious programs shaping her reactions automatically.
Her Body Kept Changing the Subject
At first, her chest discomfort, fatigue, jaw tension, gut issues, and anger looked like separate problems. But as we worked, the same deeper emotional themes kept showing up underneath — grief, shame, guilt, rejection, abandonment, resentment, and feeling unsupported. This story shows why the symptom is often not the whole story, and why the deeper pattern is worth following.
He Felt Stuck — and His Foot Was Telling the Same Story
Sometimes the body tells the same story the person is living. In this session story, a man felt emotionally stuck and unable to move forward — while also experiencing right foot and ankle pain. As we worked underneath the feeling of being lost, deeper layers of grief, abandonment, “I’m trapped,” and “I’m never enough” began to surface. His foot pain shifted, but the bigger lesson was this: the symptom is often only the doorway to the emotional stack underneath.
Your Reactions Aren’t Random — They’re the Memory Your Mind Forgot but Your Body Still Carries
Your reactions aren’t random — they’re the emotional memories your body never got to release. This post breaks down the subconscious patterning system that’s been running your triggers, your shutdowns, and your heaviness for years… and why nothing you’ve tried has fully worked until now.
