Before Your Discovery Session

Before we talk, I want to give you a better idea of what we’ll actually be doing, why understanding a problem isn’t always enough to change it, and what this work looks like in a real session.

You Can Understand a Problem and Still Keep Repeating It

Most people I work with already know quite a bit about themselves.

They know what they shouldn’t be doing. They know how they want to respond. Sometimes they even know where it started.

But knowing something consciously and changing what happens automatically are two different things.

The Issue You Notice Is Where We Start

You might come in with anger, anxiety, shutting down, relationship problems, self-sabotage, physical tension, or something else that keeps happening.

We start with what’s happening now.

Then we trace back what your subconscious and nervous system may still be holding from earlier experiences, learned beliefs, and emotional material.

The goal isn’t to spend the session talking through your whole past.

It’s to find what may still be connected to the issue happening today.

See What This Work Actually Looks Like

It’s easier to understand once you see it happening.

Every session is different. There isn’t a preset script because we follow what comes up around the issue you bring in.

Before the session, she couldn’t stay at a job longer than a year.

The same thing kept happening.

She would start strong.

Then something would shift.

People felt unsafe.
Comments felt personal.
Tension felt threatening.
Leaving started to feel like the only option.

After we worked on what was underneath those reactions, she didn’t suddenly love every second of work.

That’s not the point.

But she stopped repeating the same cycle.

She’s now been with the same company for four years.

And she’s excelling.

What changed wasn’t the outside world.

What changed was what kept getting activated inside her.

That’s the difference between constantly trying to fix the situation around you and changing what keeps creating the same outcome.

What Happens When We Talk

Bring one issue that feels important right now.

We’ll talk briefly about what’s been happening, when it tends to show up, and what it has been costing you.

Then we’ll actually work with it.

Sometimes people notice something shift during the call. Sometimes the change becomes more noticeable afterward.

Either way, the purpose is to give you a real experience of the work, not a presentation about it.

There’s Nothing You Need to Decide During the Call

If the session gives us something worth continuing with, I’ll tell you what I think the next step should be.

There’s no obligation to continue and no decision you need to make during the call.

The Discovery Session is simply a chance to experience the work, see what comes up around your issue, and determine whether continuing makes sense.

Before We Talk

You don’t need to prepare your whole life story.

Just think about one thing you’re tired of repeating, reacting to, or carrying.

We’ll start there.
